mbed-HDK design was initially used as part of the n-bed board to provide the mbed interface.
It performed very well, and it was decided to create a standalone mbed-HDK board in very small size
to be used as an SMT module.
Except the mbed-HDK usage it can control small and low power projects.
The drag and drop programming capability without any prior programming of the chip
and the mbed environment provide really rapid prototyping

mbed-HDK

- CMSIS-DAP for seamless debugging Target-CPU (tested on LPC1768) from KEIL IAR and other toolchains acting as USB to JTAG interface
- Provides mbed-enabled capability for another processor via serial JTAG. Tested with LPC1768
- USB Virtual UART Serial Port for debugging or other purposes
- mbed Drag & Drop programming for the Target CPU (tested on LPC1768)
- Bootloader for BLE mbug (nRF51822)
