n-mote series photo-voltaic and TEG micro harvester for Wireless Sensor Networks

Background

Provides freedom to be used with an external PV (or TEG) that suits best the use case. The storage supercap is small for fast charge time and there is a connector to connect an external storage element like bigger supercap or battery

Features

• Cold start minimum input voltage:
• Minimum input voltage when partially charged:
• MPPT: Set by resistors to 80% for PV or 50% for TEG
• Efficiency:
• It can be used as battery life extender for a 2xAA pack
• Optional CPU module like N-U35, or N-32U4
• Socket for XBEE form factor tranceiver
