It needs up to 50mV to start, and draws 3mA with no load connected. The maximum input is 500mV.

My tests

  • The Linear technologies evaluation board draws 10-20mA at the input with no load at the output


Conclusions

  • It seems that it draws 3mA without transformer and 10-20 mA with transformer, without any load!!!
  • Not appropriate for a low power harvester for WSN
