n-mote multi-point capacitive/optical sensing module for liquid properties

Description

This is the pcb for a modular liquid properties probe. It is developed for and tested with Fogmon Fat Oil Grease interceptor monitoring system.

Features

• n-mote Modular design form factor
• Module length is 160mm
• Low power capability by turning off power supply during non-sensing periods
• Each module can sense:

• 8 points Capacitive sensor

• 2 options of capacitive sensing chips, for optimized cost/performance

• 3 points optical, Red Green Blue and Composite light intensity sensors
• 3 points optical Infrared light intensity sensors

• Single point precise temperature sensor
• Multiple modules can be cascaded to increase the sensing length

• For example 48cm of sensing length need 3 modules with total sensing capabilities:

• 24 capacitive sensing points
• 9 RGB-C sensing points
• 9 Infrared sensing points
• 3 Temperaure sensing points
